M-DOT & Confidence Drop Thought-Provoking Single “Rollercoaster” Ahead of Collaborative Album

Boston emcee M-DOT teams up with acclaimed producer Confidence for their gripping new single, “Rollercoaster.” Known for their mutual respect and long-standing friendship, the two artists have finally united for a full-length project—and this single sets the tone perfectly.

Riding over Confidence’s signature soulful yet rugged production, “Rollercoaster” paints a vivid picture of life’s highs and lows—where moments of triumph can quickly turn into sobering realities. It's more than just a track; it’s a reflection on resilience, the hustle, and the emotional unpredictability of the artist’s journey.

“This was the beat that finally sparked the full album,” M-Dot reveals. “After years of talking about working together, this one made it real.”

The upcoming project, Library Of Sound, represents a first for M-Dot: an entire album produced by a single producer. It’s a natural pairing—Confidence’s boom-bap-influenced soundscape perfectly complements M-Dot’s lyrical dexterity and grounded storytelling.

“Rollercoaster” is the third single off Library Of Sound, which drops June 27th on all digital streaming platforms. The vinyl edition will follow in mid-July via Below System Records, with added support from Own Lane Music.

Whether you’ve followed M-Dot for years or are just getting familiar, this collaboration is one for the books. Stream “Rollercoaster” now on all major platforms and pre-order Library Of Sound to witness two craftsmen at the peak of their game.
