Urban Renewal Project Collabs With Saturday AM For Exclusive Record Store Day Vinyl Release

For an exclusive Record Store Day release, the genre-bending collective Urban Renewal Project recruited Chicago spitter Vic Mensa for their single “Will To Survive.”

Combining jazz-infused underground hip hop with period instruments from the ancient Mediterranean, the 7-inch release comes packaged with an original 20-page manga chronicling the adventures of a young recruit from North Africa in the Roman Legion, illustrated by the team at Saturday AM.
