Madhattan Sparks Off Upcoming Album With An Ode To NYC’s “Canal Street”

It’s a hallmark of emceeing to rep your city or area, but Madhattan has taken that to the next level by basically naming himself after his NYC hood. This grimey lyricist has become known for his smooth flow and witty punchlines, and is definitely on underground Hip-Hop heads’ radars. His projects with popular names like IceRocks, FastLife, and G4Jag have increased his buzz considerably.

Today he’s unleashing “Canal Street,” the lead single off Mad’s upcoming full-length offering “Sink or Swim.” This ode to one of NYC most infamous streets is an IceRocks’ production that exemplifies his rugged sound.
