Luh Soldier ft. NLE Choppa – “Naw FR” (Video)

Alabama’s LUH SOLDIER has definitely asserted himself as one of the next premier hip hop talents to rise from the south and in just this past year alone Luh Soldier new EP and the title track, “NAW FR,” placed him on a new pedestal of popularity.

The 20-year-old rapper is definitely bringing a different flavor to modern hip-hop, with his raw, energetic, rapid-fire lyrics and cinematic sound that people are certainly paying attention to. Exclusively released today on World Star Hip Hop, Luh Soldier returns with the drop of his official video for “NAW FR” featuring Memphis’s newest hip hop prodigy, NLE Choppa.

The visual was directed by Catch Rec Media and takes you to the streets where Luh Soldier and NLE Choppa send out their crew of baddies to handle a home invasion. The song is off Luh Soldier’s newest project, NAW FR. Recently signed to Cinematic Music Group, Luh Soldier’s most recent project, NAW FR is out now and features guest appearances by G Herbo, PeeWee Longway and more.

Didier Malherbe in 1990's Fetish CD [plus 1979 Bloom, 1981 Melodic Destiny, 1986 Faton Bloom, 1989 Saxo Folies]

  I thought for sure I posted him before, but only in connection with Faton Cahen, here , and Patrice Meyer . Of course he's most known for the work he did with Gong . From the requested album Fetish, released 1990, the last 2 songs feature synth player Rykiel, discogged here .  These are really lovely, consider Hors D'oeuvres: I'm assuming everyone is already familiar with the great Bloom album and Faton Bloom, which is a kind of follow up from 1986 with Cahen.  From that one, the lovely but oddly named Vulvox: From the cassette only release with guitarist Yan Emeric, A Breughel really blew me away in its compositional glory, I am not sure which of his paintings the progressive complexity could be alluding to: Otherwise this release is a bit of mixed bag.
