Crossworm Hires Corissa “Bando” Hunziker as Label Manager for Dirtcore Music

Grand Rapids, Michigan recording artist Crossworm has announced that his manager Corissa “Bando” Hunziker is now the official label manager for Dirtcore Music. Last summer he brought on a believer that was not just avidly interested in what he does, but viciously competent in multiple areas. The one thing that he had to have at his side was the parts that can’t be taught. Her emotional EQ, & her ability to decipher exformation; (the information that is unspoken & present in the negative space of people’s actions”. Her aptitude to learn abilities & execute tasks is of course paramount. But there was a quality he noticed immediately; The ability to understand well beyond what was being said or asked, the past influences of the situation, the present climate & the future ramifications of moving forward. Her ability to “zoom out” on the timeline & see multiple moving pieces, their trajectory & the possibilities of playout is not something he ever wants to work without again. In addition to his day to day career management, Bando will also take on Dirtcore’s business. Not necessarily each artist’s day to day, but the label itself & how the pieces all come together & operate. There’s never been a single contender with her ability & aptitude. There have been lots of good intentions, buf never a Bando. Every single day for over a year, she has shown up. She found out his phone refers to himself as “commander” because he’s a geek, so every day she shows up with “Good morning Commander” & we get started on the day’s business. Dirtcore has pumped more movement & intricate strategy into 1 year than most do in 5 years. Bando has become one of Crossworm’s best friends & they communicate more than I communicate with anyone else by a landslide. They’ve bailed each other out of a few shit situations & have both been there for each other’s absolutely crushing & devastating moments. 2025 is going to be important, so he needs someone important at the helm. Welcome to Dirtcore once again, Bando! This time, as label manager.
