CAIN Receives First RIAA Gold Certification For ‘Rise Up (Lazarus)’

There is no stopping award-winning band CAIN. Kicking off the year with new music and embarking on their first-ever headlining spring tour, they made their Grand Ole Opry debut and traveled to New York to appear on Fox & Friends and SiriusXM. While continuing their tour into May, CAIN is also readying to host the biggest fan-based awards show of the year, the K-LOVE Fan Awards, over Memorial Day weekend. What’s even better? There is still so much more to come from the sibling trio – comprised of Madison Cain Johnson, Taylor Cain Matz, and Logan Cain – this year.

Their latest accolade, however, came as a surprise this past weekend. CAIN was awarded their first RIAA Gold® certification for their chart-topping single “Rise Up (Lazarus).” The group was presented gold plaques by their record label, surprising them during a recent concert held just outside of Nashville, to commemorate their achievement. Sharing collectively from their Instagram page, CAIN shares, “‘Rise Up’ has been special for us, and we’re so thankful you’ve let it be part of your lives too. Thank you and thank you, Jesus!”

Holly Zabka, President of Provident Entertainment, adds, “I have had a front-row seat to witness the incredible, life-changing ministry and music of CAIN. Grieves showcased an intimate, rare performance, delivering songs from their catalog including Irreversible , 88 Keys & Counting , Together/Apart , Winter & the Wolves , Running Wild , and their latest album, Canopy . Didier Malherbe in 1990's Fetish CD [plus 1979 Bloom, 1981 Melodic Destiny, 1986 Faton Bloom, 1989 Saxo Folies]

  I thought for sure I posted him before, but only in connection with Faton Cahen, here , and Patrice Meyer . Of course he's most known for the work he did with Gong . From the requested album Fetish, released 1990, the last 2 songs feature synth player Rykiel, discogged here .  These are really lovely, consider Hors D'oeuvres: I'm assuming everyone is already familiar with the great Bloom album and Faton Bloom, which is a kind of follow up from 1986 with Cahen.  From that one, the lovely but oddly named Vulvox: From the cassette only release with guitarist Yan Emeric, A Breughel really blew me away in its compositional glory, I am not sure which of his paintings the progressive complexity could be alluding to: Otherwise this release is a bit of mixed bag.
