Kanye West Wanted to Name Album After Hitler & the Nazi Party

Kanye West was so enamored by Adolf Hitler and his book "Mein Kamp," that he was tempted to honor the infamous war criminal with an album title. An executive and former employee of Kanye West recently spoke to CNN about the rapper's jaw-dropping admiration for the late German dictator who once orchestrated the Holocaust during World War II.

“He would praise Hitler by saying how incredible it was that he was able to accumulate so much power and would talk about all the great things he and the Nazi Party achieved for the German people,” said Kanye's former employee.

As the former business executive for Kanye West continued with his revelation about Kanye, he detailed the rapper's disruptive appreciation for the Nazis and their ability to influence the public with propaganda. The sad irony is if Hitler and the Nazi Party had succeeded in their quest to take over the entire world in the 1940s, Kanye West would not have the money, power, or freedom of speech that has made him such a polarizing figure in the mainstream.

About a month ago, Van Lathan, formerly of TMZ, shared his thoughts regarding Kanye West alleged admiration for Hitler during an episode of his podcast Higher Learning. According to the 42-year-old, the reason why Kanye's statements about Hitler didn't make headlines is that the producers opted to remove the comments.

“I already heard him say that stuff before at TMZ," Lathan said. "I mean, I was taken aback because that type of antisemitic talk is disgusting. It’s like, I’m taken aback any time anyone does that, right? But as far as [West], I knew that that was in him because when he came to TMZ, he said that stuff, and they took it out of the interview. … He said something like, ‘I love Hitler, I love Nazis.’ Something to that effect when he was there. And they took it out of the interview for whatever reason. It wasn’t my decision.”
