What God Wants Us To Know

“I created you with purpose, and even though sin has broken the world and separated humanity from Me, My promises and purposes cannot be defeated.”

Genesis introduces humanity to the foundation of Scripture: God is the Creator, humanity is made in His image, and life is meant to exist in relationship with Him. The book explains the entrance of sin into the world and the consequences of human rebellion, but it also reveals God's faithfulness through His covenant with Abraham and his descendants. Through stories of creation, the flood, Abraham, Jacob, and Joseph, Genesis shows that human failure does not prevent God from accomplishing His plans. God continues working through imperfect people while remaining faithful to His promises.
