What God Wants Us To Know

“I hear the cries of those who suffer, I have the power to deliver you, and true freedom comes when you learn to belong to Me.”

Exodus reveals God as the Deliverer who hears Israel's suffering under Egyptian oppression and acts according to His covenant promises. Through Moses, the plagues, the Passover, and the crossing of the Red Sea, God demonstrates that no earthly power is greater than Him. However, Exodus teaches that freedom is not simply escape from hardship; it is being brought into a relationship with God. After rescuing Israel from Egypt, God gives His law and establishes His covenant, teaching His people how to live as those who belong to Him.
