MC Eiht & MONTAGE ØNE Connect With Team Demo for Their Bass Driven, Funk Banger ”Creep”


Take a trip to the West Coast on Team Demo’s latest single, “Creep,” a low-key funky banger featuring dope verses from MC Eiht and MONTAGE ØNE. From the sing-song hook to the bass-driven production, the track is essentially theme music for a drive-by, and both emcees deliver that messaging with superbly raw and quotable rhymes.

It’s a Demo, is available now for pre-order on vinyl as well as through all major digital retailers. In addition to MC Eiht and MONTAGE ØNE, the album boasts guest appearances from Method Man, Wais P, Lil Fame, Nems, Rome Streetz, Sauce Money, Che Noir, Skyzoo, Hus KingPin, Planet Asia, Ras Kass, Termanology, Vado and more.

The 10 track LP is set for a Dec. 15th release date in partnership between Every Hood Records and Team Demo Music, with distribution by Fat Beats. The album will be available both digitally as well on vinyl (limited to 300 copies).

Didier Malherbe in 1990's Fetish CD [plus 1979 Bloom, 1981 Melodic Destiny, 1986 Faton Bloom, 1989 Saxo Folies]

  I thought for sure I posted him before, but only in connection with Faton Cahen, here , and Patrice Meyer . Of course he's most known for the work he did with Gong . From the requested album Fetish, released 1990, the last 2 songs feature synth player Rykiel, discogged here .  These are really lovely, consider Hors D'oeuvres: I'm assuming everyone is already familiar with the great Bloom album and Faton Bloom, which is a kind of follow up from 1986 with Cahen.  From that one, the lovely but oddly named Vulvox: From the cassette only release with guitarist Yan Emeric, A Breughel really blew me away in its compositional glory, I am not sure which of his paintings the progressive complexity could be alluding to: Otherwise this release is a bit of mixed bag.
