LeBron James Reaches 39,000 Career Points

LeBron James scored his 39,000th point as the Los Angeles Lakers secured a 131-99 victory over the Utah Jazz, completing an undefeated run through the NBA In-Season Tournament's group play. Anthony Davis contributed 26 points and 16 rebounds for the Lakers, who dominated Phoenix, Memphis, Portland, and Utah during the tournament.

James, already the NBA's all-time top scorer, reached the 39,000-point milestone early in the first quarter, becoming the first player in league history to achieve this feat.

The Lakers are poised to host a quarterfinal game in the knockout stages of the tournament. James played 24 minutes, while Davis, who went 11 of 14, played 29 minutes. The Lakers lead 62-41 at halftime, and Utah struggled with a 33% shooting rate in the first half.
