Fetty Wap Sentenced to Six Years In Prison

Fetty Wap was sentenced to six years in prison in his federal drug conspiracy trial after pleading guilty in August to one count of conspiracy to possess and distribute more than 500 grams of cocaine

Prosecutors accused the "Trap Queen" rapper of being a kilogram-level redistributor for the trafficking organization that allegedly distributed to dealers, who sold them on Long Island and in New Jersey. He faced a minimum of five years and a maximum of 40 years behind bars for the crime, while prosecutors asked the judge last week for a sentence of seven years and three months to nine years.

Prosecutors accused Fetty Wap of being a "large-scale narcotics trafficker" who "continues to use his fame, sizable platform and influence to glamorize the drug trade." They even used Fetty Wap's hit song "Trap Queen" as an example of how he was glamorizing selling drugs.
