Mistah Wilson: For those outside of tha PNW, how different would you say tha Tacoma sound is compared to that of Seattle?
King Leez: In all honesty does the NW as a whole have a sound that we claim or is it all west coast or new wave? The artists that have actually blown up from Seattle did really well but nobody sounds like them (Macklemore) (Mix-a-lot). To have a set sound for a city I feel like it starts with a producer, nobody I know was tracking down Ryan Lewis after Macklemore blew. Tacoma is small and gritty so I will say the sound will have more pain and struggle in it.

Mistah Wilson: Everything you've dropped is absolute heat 🔥 and we appreciate that because it's become a rarity in today's music world. Who are some artists, musicians, or figures that inspire your creative process?
King Leez: Again thanks for the love it’s appreciated. This might sound cliché but I studied all the greats PAC, Nas, Biggie, Jay Z, Ice Cube, Too Short, E40, and the list goes on. All the greats.

Grieves showcased an intimate, rare performance, delivering songs from their catalog including Irreversible , 88 Keys & Counting , Together/Apart , Winter & the Wolves , Running Wild , and their latest album, Canopy . Didier Malherbe in 1990's Fetish CD [plus 1979 Bloom, 1981 Melodic Destiny, 1986 Faton Bloom, 1989 Saxo Folies]

  I thought for sure I posted him before, but only in connection with Faton Cahen, here , and Patrice Meyer . Of course he's most known for the work he did with Gong . From the requested album Fetish, released 1990, the last 2 songs feature synth player Rykiel, discogged here .  These are really lovely, consider Hors D'oeuvres: I'm assuming everyone is already familiar with the great Bloom album and Faton Bloom, which is a kind of follow up from 1986 with Cahen.  From that one, the lovely but oddly named Vulvox: From the cassette only release with guitarist Yan Emeric, A Breughel really blew me away in its compositional glory, I am not sure which of his paintings the progressive complexity could be alluding to: Otherwise this release is a bit of mixed bag.
