Listen to "Alba" album by Lara Vizuete on Bandcamp

After studying the ‘New York Jazz Master of Music’ in Groningen (The Netherlands) and New York, Lara Vizuete embarks on a new project that emerged from her Master’s Research in Groningen.

This first album is based on the ‘Filin’ style. ‘Filin' is an artistic movement that arose in the 1940’s in La Habana (Cuba) and it meant the development of Bolero style influenced by Jazz music.

‘Alba’ brings a repertoire formed by arrangements and original compositions in ‘filin’ style with a modern jazz approach.
